Rachel Mitchell

Rachel is a Code for Sustainable Homes and Eco-homes assessor and writes sustainability and energy statements in support of planning applications.  Rachel specialises in construction energy advice and training to optimise builidng performance and meet higher standards.  More recently she has been working on Passiv Haus design and assessment and is also a registered NHER SAP assessor and OCDEA.  Rachel worked for 15 years managing and maintaining social housing at a senior level before moving into sustainable building design.  

Phil Neve

Phil has considerable experience in the green building and renewable energy sectors.  Working with fabric, materials and energy systems he provides a holistic approach to building design and construction. Phil has a special interest in achieiving high levels of sustainability with refurbishment and the use of unconventional methods and materials new and existing buildings. He is a registered NHER SAP assessor and OCDEA and also works with SBEM  Before working professionally in the built environment Phil was an oceanographer, environmentalist and entrepreneur.  His spare time interests include environmental campaigning, permaculture, constructing timber and strawbale buildings and paragliding.
